The verification standard

Every fact confirmed with whoever issued it.

Echelon Verified, stated

Every carrier on this board is Echelon Verified: insured to cover the vehicles they move — confirmed in writing with the issuing insurer — every driver and every truck registered by ID and VIN, and the identity of who shows up matched against that record at pickup, before the car is released.

One standard. Every member, every tier.

The four layers

What each layer confirms, and with whom.

LayerWhat is confirmedConfirmed with

01

Authority

Operating authority and safety record FMCSA, pulled directly — never accepted from the applicant

02

Coverage

The policy exists, is in force, and covers the tier The issuing insurer. Echelon holds certificate-holder status.

03

Equipment and drivers

Every truck and trailer by VIN; every driver by license and ID The issuing insurer, plus an independent identity check

04

Identity at pickup

The carrier, equipment and driver that arrive are the ones on file The registered record — matched at the curb, before the car is loaded

An FMCSA lookup confirms a company exists. It does not confirm you are talking to that company.

The registered data set

What is on the record.

A member registers this once, then keeps it current. Any addition is re-verified before it can be used on a load.

Held on fileRe-verified
Legal name, DOT and MC numbers Monthly, pulled from FMCSA
Insurer, policy number, confirmed cargo limit Continuously, and re-confirmed on every full-file cycle
Every truck and trailer, by VIN Every 60 days, confirmed with the issuing insurer
Every driver, by license and photo ID On the same cycle, and again at every pickup
VIN-plate photographs for all registered equipment Matched at every pickup

When a check fails

What a failed check costs.

Minor

Honest error. A documentation slip after delivery, a late status update. Logged on the member's own record and correctable.

Major

Material failure. Coverage lapsed while active, a mishandled damage claim. A formal strike on the record, and the account is reviewed before another load is accepted.

Disqualifying

Breach of trust. Falsified documentation, a VIN mismatch indicating theft, tampering. Permanent expulsion. No strikes. No appeal.
The full strike system

A pickup that does not match is stopped before the car is loaded.

The 60-day cycle

The same interval at every tier.

Tier I is re-verified on the same interval as Tier IV. A tiered cadence would say the lower tiers are watched less closely. That is not a standard. Your tier governs what you may carry. It is not a discount on verification.

Membership

Verification is the product. The board is where you use it.

Applying creates a pending file for the verification desk. Nothing activates until it clears.
